Position: Temporary Female Quran Teacher
Location: Masjid Ayesha Bradford, UK
Employment Type: Part-Time/Temporary
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 4:45pm - 6:30pm
Salary: £12 per hour

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Quran teacher to join our madrasah team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of Quranic recitation using the Qaidah, ensuring a solid foundation in tajweed and pronunciation.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Quranic reading skills to students using the Qaidah.
Develop engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students at different levels.
Instill correct tajweed and pronunciation from the beginning stages of learning.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and address areas needing improvement.
Foster a positive, respectful, and Islamic learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and provide regular updates.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Qaidah and tajweed rules
Prior experience teaching Qaidah or similar Quranic fundamentals
Clear Enhanced DBS
Patience and ability to work with young children of various ages
Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Arabic or Urdu) are an advantage
Understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection policies
Passion for Islamic education and teaching
