Courses at Masjid Ayesha
For the first time, we will be delivering Quran Tafseer sessions on Surah Fatihah and the Last 10 Surahs of the Holy Quran.
Tafseer sessions on Surah Al-Fatihah and the last ten Surahs of the Quran offer profound spiritual and intellectual insights into some of the most frequently recited chapters in Salah. Surah Al-Fatihah, known as the “Opening,” is the first chapter of the Quran and is recited in every unit of Salah. Tafseer of this Surah delves into its deep meanings, exploring its themes of praise, gratitude, worship, and supplication to Allah, as well as its guidance for living a life in accordance with divine will.
Similarly, the last ten Surahs, beginning from Surah Al-Fil (Chapter 105) to Surah Al-Nas (Chapter 114), are short but contain powerful messages that address key aspects of faith, protection from harm, and seeking refuge in Allah from both physical and spiritual dangers. These chapters emphasise themes like Allah’s protection over the believers, the downfall of oppressors, sincerity in worship, and seeking refuge from evil influences. Tafseer sessions on these Surahs not only provide a deeper understanding of the text but also help believers connect their recitation to the broader lessons and guidance of the Quran in their daily lives.
